Davao Gulf

Davao Gulf is a vast body of water that offers dozens of excellent dive spots that can provide years of diving pleasure, whether you’re a newly-certified Open Water diver or a seasoned dive master. This site is dedicated to the protection of the gulf, and to all divers who cherish it.

Initiated in June 2011 by Blogie Robillo, and supported by his dive buddies Christian Te and Rodney Jao, ScubaDAVAO.com aims to promote diving in the Davao Region for leisure, training, scientific inquiry and, most of all, for marine conservation. After all, without an intact and ecologically well-balanced marine life, there probably wouldn’t be any point in diving anymore, would there? To paraphrase the mountaineer’s motto:

Leave nothing but bubbles, take nothing but underwater pictures, kill nothing but time (but don’t exceed your tank limit).
